YSB Celebrates 100 Years of Pioneering Business Education in Korea

The Yonsei University School of Business is observing its centennial year with numerous events, including moving into its modern new building. Since Yonsei University first introduced business education in Korea in 1915, the school’s graduates have been at the forefront of Korea’s economic development and also prominent in global business affairs.

The YSB’s new building will be one of the most visible symbols of the celebration of 100 years of business education. The building’s state-of-the-art infrastructure and software mark not only 100 years of progress but also reflect how the YSB is poised to set new standards in the years ahead as a world class business school.

Events in the YSB’s yearlong celebration will be conducted under the slogan “Change the World, Lead the Future.” It boldly declares the dream and vision of the school’s leaders and their commitment to producing creative leaders of the future and to enhancing and solidifying the YSB’s position among the world’s elite educational institutions.

The 100th anniversary emblem of the Yonsei School of Business is solid and modern, allowing one to feel the history, pride, and dignity of the institution. By combining the number 100 and the infinity symbol in the design, the emblem implies the infinitely growing Yonsei School of Business. The emblem’s expression of Yonsei University’s royal blue color as a gradation symbolizes the university’s forward movement and commitment to the future.
