Jiho Yang  (MS, Management) won the Best Paper Award  from the Korean Society of Strategic Management. Fifteen papers were submitted this winter, 12 of which had students as their first author, and the Best Paper Award was given to the most outstanding paper.

“I would like to thank Professor Kyung Min Park and my parents,” Yang said. “I would like to express my gratitude to the Korean Society of Strategic Management for this award. I take this as encouragement for me to become a better scholar.”

The paper, “Independent and Interactive Effects of Performance Feedback and Management’s Past Temporal Focus on Firms’ R&D Intensity in the Semiconductor Industry,” analyzed how top management’s cognitive characteristics influence R&D investments based on performance feedback models.
