Three Yonsei MBA Teams Win MBA Case Competition Awards

Three Yonsei MBA teams won awards in December at the 2019 MBA Case Competition co-hosted by Yonsei School of Business and the Money Today Network (MTN).

The KB Financial Group suggested this year’s cases on the topic "KB's Strategies toward Changes in the Digital Financial Environment."

The Digital Easy team composed of Corporate MBA students Yong Hee Kim, Hyeoncheol Jeong, Byung Kon Lee, and Goo Il Hu from the entering class of 2019, won the award of from the Money Today Network’s President Award—with their for "Differentiating Services Through Subscription Commerce."

The winner of the Excellence Award was team Play.C, composed of Hyun Suk Jung (Corporate MBA 18), Nam-Woong Kang (Corporate MBA 18), Jinsoo Jung (Finance MBA 19), and Sumin Kim (Corporate MBA 19). They presented a strategic solution for transferring KB Financial into a FinTech platform financial group.

Team Project Mercury won the Excellence Award for proposing a strategic solution for KB Financial Group to enter the real estate market in Cambodia. The team was composed of Corporate MBA students Pyeong Un Kwon, Byeongmin Kim, Hyemin Na, and Jongwan Ryu from the entering class of 2019.
