YSB Management students Jeong Won Lee (joint MS/Ph.D., 6th semester) and Tae Ung Choi (MS, 5th semester) have received this year’s AmorePacific Best Academic Paper award from the Association of Korean Management Scholars (AKMS).
The AKMS reviews papers submitted at the Academy of Management’s annual international conference —the largest international conference in management studies — to select two Korean students for the AmorePacific Best Academic Paper Award and to award four foreign students with the Samsung Economic Research Institute’s Best Academic Paper Award.

At this year’s AOM conference, Jeong Won Lee (joint MS/Ph.D., 6th semester) and her colleague Chang-Wook Jeung (Ph.D., 5th semester) presented “Good People Are Creative: The Mediation Mechanism between Citizenship Behavior and Creativity.” Tae Ung Choi (MS, 5th semester) coauthored “Status Not Alone: Revisiting the Relationship Between Status and Uncertainty” with Professor Mooweon Rhee (YSB) and Professor Daegyu Yang (Kyung Hee University).

Six students have received the AmorePacific Best Academic Paper Award since 2014; five of them have been either MS or Ph.D. students from Yonsei, attesting to how talented the YSB Management Department’s students are. In Yong Shin (2015 graduate, professor at Pukyong National University) and Bokyung Lee (joint MS/Ph.D., 10th semester) received the award in 2014, followed by Heeeun Jhang (joint MS/Ph.D., 15th semester) in 2015.
