Conference Held with Bangladesh’s Dhaka University

Yonsei University School of Business and Bangladesh’s Dhaka University held a conference on May 26 at Yonsei on the topic “Asia’s Leading Era of International Trade, Finance, and Governance.” Twenty Dhaka faculty members attended the two schools’ first academic exchange since they signed a memorandum of understanding in January 2014 on such exchanges.
The daylong conference was divided into four sessions. Presentations on ongoing research were made by Yonsei School of Business faculty members Young Ryeol Park, Hyuntak Roh, Sung Joo Bae, Dae-Hee Yoon, and Jae Young Lee. Dhaka faculty in international business, marketing, management, information systems, and finance also made presentations.
During the dinner session, Dean Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam of Dhaka University Business Studies announced that he will hold an academic event in Bangladesh and invite the entire Yonsei School of Business faculty.
Dhaka University, established in 1921, is a national university in Dhaka, Bangladesh’s capital city.
