Professor Dae-Hee Yoon of Accounting is the winner of the 2014 Choheun Academic Prize, which recognizes outstanding academic achievements by a member of the faculty of the Yonsei College of Economics and Business and of the Yonsei School of Business.

In accepting the award, Professor Yoon expressed his deep gratitude to Byung-Heun Ko, a BBA alumnus (entering class of 1964, chairman of Kumbi), who established the award in 2003, when he was president of the Alumni Association of the Yonsei College of Economics and Business and the Yonsei Business School.  He also thanked his colleagues in business and accounting who allowed him to devote himself to research and education and promised to “further devote myself to research and education.”

The award was presented December 3, 2014, at a year-end party for the alumni of the YSB and the College of Business and Economics. The event was hosted by the Alumni Association of the Yonsei College of Economics and Business and the Yonsei School of Business. The association also selects the recipients of the award.
