Ph.D. Candidate Sooyun Kim Wins Best Paper Award

Doctoral candidate Sooyun Kim (Operations Management, 11th semester) won the best paper award at the 2018 Fall Academic Conference hosted by the Korean Production and Operations Management Society.

 

Kim presented her paper “Better Designing Messages to B2C Sharing-Service Customers for Their Compliance.” This paper studied effective message design to encourage clients’ cooperation within the B2C shared economy service model.

 

“Thanks to my advisor Sunmee Choi, professor of Operations Management,” she said, “who made it possible to win this award. It is all the more meaningful because this paper is part of my Ph.D. dissertation.”

Professor Sunmee Choi is the coauthor of the paper.
