Professor Dongyoub Shin of Management was selected as ‘This year’s proud Yale alumnus.’ Professor Shin, who has actively participated in the field of culture and art, was recognized for his contributions by Association of Yale Alumni. Professor Shin is a well-known business scholar, as well as a volunteer in the field of culture and art, including the Committee Chair for the Seoul Spring Festival of Chamber Music.

The name of the award is ‘Recognition of Outstanding Service’. It’s an award given to a Yale alumnus for his/her contribution to community service, not for his/her influential status or prominence. “For this reason”, the professor expressed, “the award has an even greater meaning. Furthermore, I’m delighted that regularly volunteering within the field of Culture and Art has earned recognition.”
