The Association for Information Systems (AIS) has named YSB Professor Hogeun Lee as its latest recipient of its annual AIS Fellow Award. He received the recognition in December at the International Conference on Information Systems 2016, which was hosted by AIS.

The honor was established in 1999 and is awarded to professors for outstanding contributions to the global community in terms of research and industry activity. AIS annually names a committee to make the selection not only based on research achievements but also on criteria that include community service and contributions to local industry.

“It’s the seventeenth year since the AIS Fellow Award was established, and I am the second Korean professor to receive it,” Professor Lee said. “Personally, it is an honor, but I am also grateful because I am able to promote the Yonsei School of Business within the AIS community. I will accept this award as an opportunity to endeavor to devote myself to research and service.”
