In his opening remarks, Associate Dean Il Im told the group, “I wish this event will be a good opportunity for your career development and for networking with productive information exchanges.” Professor Soonhong Min proposed a toast to “Forever, friends” to lighten up the mood. Students and alumni enjoyed networking and lively conversation throughout the event.

GMBA freshman student president Jonathan Yang was master of ceremonies for the event and introduced each alumnus who made time to attend. Students had prepared special performances for the evening, singing “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and “We like 2 Party” by Big Bang. A great cheer went up from the crowd when 10 students wearing funny glasses danced to the “Numbers Song.”

In a career mentoring session, alumni answered questions about how the Yonsei GMBA program had helped their current careers. And for the non-Korean students, the alumni said they considered internships to offer the best opportunity to learn the Korean language and culture and how to work with Korean people.

[Alumni answered students’ questions and offered academic and career suggestions.]
